Please join us and our guest speakers Jasmine Husson (Senior Project Manager) and Kris Boyce (Manager Strategic Projects) for a technical presentation on the 'Bringing Land to Market' report and Infrastructure planning within the Northern Territory.
The independent report, ‘Bringing Land to Market, an independent review of the Land Development Processes, Land Under Development and Titled Land’ was released on the 19 February 2022 with Government providing in-principle support for all 23 recommendations. The 23 recommendations in the report collectively aim to support a growing Northern Territory economy through the provision of sufficient titled land to meet future upswings in demand, in particular to support future growth. A Land Development Committee was established to provide oversight on the progress of the recommendations, with Dick Guit appointed as the Independent Chair. A cross-agency effort is underway to deliver on the recommendations of the report, with a number of the recommendations already implemented. The Land Development unit of the Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics continues to lead the implementation of the remaining recommendations.

About the speakers
Jasmine Husson has over 20 years’ experience in the public service with expertise in risk management, public policy, project management and strategic integrated planning. She has a Bachelor of Business and Graduate Certificate in Planning and Development. Jasmine leads the Policy and Planning team within the Land Development unit that is responsible for the implementation of the recommendations of the Bringing Land to Market Report.
Kris Boyce has a decade of experience in the Department of Infrastructure, Planning, and Logistics, with a focus on major projects and the release of Crown land. He has a Bachelor of Law and Diploma in Project Management. Over the last 18 months, Kris has been instrumental within the Land Development unit, in delivering the key recommendations outlined in the Bringing Land to Market report. His expertise lies in navigating complex regulatory landscapes and delivering outcomes for land development
