Last week, our sister society, the Australian Shotcrete Society (AuSS) held a shotcrete workshop on lessons from recent Sydney tunnel projects. The workshop provided one day of presentations covering amongst others, perspectives of the designer, contractor, independent certifier (IC), operator/owner and RMS. 
This technical session is being held in conjunction with the AuSS and will provide a summary of the workshop and the main issues pertinent to civil infrastructure tunnels.  The presenters and their topics are:

Stefan Bernard- AuSS Chairman -Introduction and summary of current shotcrete issues
Phil Clark -Roads and Maritime -Background to RMS Shotcrete requirements
David Oliveira -Jacobs Shotcrete – A designer’s perspective
Stuart Simonds- John Holland Shotcrete – A contractor’s perspective
Rob Nievergelt- APP Shotcrete – An IC perspective
Gavin Bradford- Transurban Shotcrete – An owner’s perspective
Christian Bodner -Aurecon- Future Revisions to B82 RMS Shotcrete Specification
