Our second speaker will provide an overview of façade engineering design with reference to a project example, offering insight into the considerations and challenges that led to the final façade design.

Key themes covered:

  • Fire safety aspects of façades focusing on cladding
  • Update to the building code relating to non-combustible facades and implications for engineering design
  • Design Considerations relating to Non-Combustible Façade Material Options
