Join Tasmania’s engineering community for a free screening of Dream Big: Engineering our World and learn about life in as an engineer – we'll explore the human ingenuity behind engineering marvels both big and small and what drives engineers to create better lives for people all around the world.

Today’s children are tomorrow’s leaders – they will engineer and build the extraordinary, help solve the world’s greatest challenges, and improve the quality of life in communities worldwide.

To mark National Science Week, kids and adults are invited to join Tasmania's engineering community for a free screening of Dream Big: Engineering our World at the University of Tasmania.

Dream Big is an inspiring film that explores the human ingenuity behind engineering marvels both big and small, and reveals the heart that drives engineers to create better lives for people all around the world. From the Great Wall of China and the world’s tallest buildings, to underwater robots, solar cars and smart, sustainable cities, the film will explore engineering feats and transform how the audience thinks about engineering.

Sit back and enjoy the film, before hearing from Tasmanian engineers about their career and what excites them in the profession.

This event is free to attend and no registrations necessary – bring the family and look to the next generation of engineers.
