Overview

Tasmania's Diversity and Inclusion group are excited to share the next event in our Lunch Club series – an exclusive opportunity for Engineers Australia members to come together and share and explore common issues.

Lunch Club is a chance to connect with your peers, discuss topics related to employment and career opportunity and challenges, and share your collective wisdom.

Each session will cover a specific topic starting with a short video aimed at stimulating group discussion in a peer mentoring environment.

The topic for our Lunch Club event is Workplace Harassment – whether directly or indirectly, most of us at some stage or another have experienced harassment in the workplace . With our workplaces becoming so much more diverse we need to be more aware of how our actions can affect others. If we witness or are subject to mistreatment in the workplace what can we do?

We encourage you to bring your lunch and a willingness to contribute and share. Each session will be conducted under the Chatham House Rule

The event will be conducted live in our Hobart Office but also via video link for those in regional areas or for those who can't make it in person.

These events will run every two months, generally on the 2nd Wednesday of the month.

Please note this is event is exclusively for Engineers Australia members.

Speaker
