Digital Processes in Infrastructure Projects

The use of strong digital processes and strategies throughout infrastructure projects has significant benefits for the project outcomes.

This live online forum will present leading edge digital tools applicable to infrastructure projects from three very different perspectives: a digital strategy consultant, a design engineer and a contractor’s digital lead.

Attendees will learn more about strategies and tools used to inform digital framework at inception, environmental impact during design, and construction stage optimisation, and have their questions answered during a Q&A panel discussion.

The three presenters will cover the following topics:

  • Key considerations in developing a digital strategy at the inception stage of infrastructure projects
  • Use of BIM data for carbon impact exploration and decision-making
  • Overview of W2B, Nortlink2, Darlington South Road Modular Bridges and a Case study of Toorak Rd Level Crossing Removal and how BIM tools enabled accurate planning, decision making and sustainable outcomes.
