Nick helps Arup’s clients rigorously explore envelope design from a “first principles” approach with the goal of achieving delightful design that simultaneously satisfies cost parameters and technical requirements. Nick is particularly driven to reduce the environmental impact associated with the built environment and leverages Arup’s latest thinking and tools to help reduce carbon (both operational and embodied), and end of life waste associated with the design and construction of building envelope systems.
