Clive has been operating in the Insurance Industry for over 39 years and has held roles in both locally owned and international businesses in the areas of broking, underwriting and operational management in both the New Zealand and Australia markets.

After finishing a role as the regional financial lines head for a Lloyds Syndicate, in conjunction with the Agile Management team, Clive launched the Financial Lines operation for Agile.
The business has been growing steadily since that time and now has 5 underwriting staff offering professional indemnity, legal expenses and tax audit products. Very shortly they will be adding Directors and Officers to their offering as well.

Agile Underwriting Services is a Lloyd’s Coverholder and Insurtech MGA specialising in Accident and Health, Aviation, Casualty, Cyber, Financial Lines, and Retail Travel. Agile combines traditional underwriting with digital distribution and product development services for brokers.

Formed in 2015 by a group of Lloyd’s and Insurtech veterans, Agile is privately owned, with all shareholders working within the business.
Agile offers a range of insurance lines including Accident & Health, Aviation and Aerospace, Casualty, Cyber, Drones, Financial Lines, Property and Retail Travel over 10 binders. Our binders are backed by 11 Lloyd’s syndicates and two company markets.

Anthony Herron 

Special Counsel at Kreisson

Anthony was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in July 1984.
He is a Special Counsel at Kreisson and his key areas of practice include:

  • construction and engineering law,
  • construction dispute resolution, and
  • building legislation and regulation.

Relevant experience:

Anthony has acted for major building contractors, developers, state and local government authorities, insurers, and private clients. He has also advised on commercial and residential construction projects and disputes and drafted and negotiated contracts for major construction projects both in Australia and overseas, as well as tender documents and supply agreements.
Having worked in several in-house roles as General Counsel for a contractor and developer, he was responsible for managing governance, risk, and compliance and drafting a wide array of construction-related contracts and agreements.

With extensive litigation experience Anthony has also conducted commercial and construction litigation in the Supreme and District Courts and the NSW Civil & Administrative Tribunal. Anthony has also had conduct of appeals in the NSW Court of Appeal and the High Court of Australia.

Anthony regularly presents external continuing legal education papers and gives seminars on construction contracts, construction management, and recent developments in NSW impacting building & design professionals.
