About the speakers

Brent Gardner | Regional Studies Manager, Wood

Brent is the regional studies manager for Wood in the Asia-Pacific region. From his experience across multiple leading engineering firms, he has garnered a 20-year background in energy developments, spanning from LNG to emerging technologies such as hydrogen, renewables, and energy transition projects.

 

Furat Dawood | Founder & Managing Director - H2E Group, PhD Candidate - Murdoch University

 

Furat is the founder and director of the Hydrogen Energy Group. He began his academic career in electrical and communication engineering before transitioning to energy systems, and has combined his expertise in these two fields to become an expert of in trading energy using Blockchain technology. He is also currently studying a PhD at Murdoch University in Renewable and Sustainable Energy.

 

Adam Osseiran | President - Hydrogen Society of Australia

Adam is the President of Hydrogen Society of Australia, and is also the Co-Founder and Chair of Innovate Australia. Adam’s career has spanned across a wide range of fields, from acoustic sensing, to sustainable energy systems, and he was a recipient of the Western Australia Innovator of the Year Award in 2018.
