The 4700 square metre Rockhampton Museum of Art (RMOA) is an architecturally-designed three-storey building that sits alongside the heritage-listed Customs House and forms part of the new cultural hub in the CBD.
Built over a period of 84 weeks with more than 800 people involved in its construction, RMOA has utilised the expertise of many local contractors and with materials and manufacturing locally sourced as well.
This site tour will provide an opportunity to see and discuss the engineering that took place in its design and construction.
The tour will be followed by a networking session.
