About the event
This presentation will provide a timely reminder as to why the physical and mental safety of themselves and those around them should be a top priority, that safety has a real value and that engineers must consider safety as their highest priority. The speakers will share their own experiences that have led to their advocacy and provision of safety.
The rail industry is under pressure to build increasingly complex and challenging projects under significant resource constraints. In this environment, the temptation to cut corners in the interest of “getting the job done” can be great.
